Wow, this dip is addicting! There's no limit to what this tasty dip could be used for - I'm thinking a dressing for a roast beef sandwich and especially fried goodies like fries, onion rings and fried mushrooms. I'll bet it would be great with raw veggies as well. You can adjust the chili sauce and prepared horseradish for a little more kick -- I added additional chili sauce myself. Great go to dip as it uses items you always have on hand. Made for Newest Zaar Tag, July, 2012.

I halved the ingredients--but the end result didn't seem spicy enough, so I used the original amount of chili sauce, horseradish, and cayenne, with only 1/2 cup each of the mayo and sour cream. Next time I think I will use three parts mayonnaise to one part sour cream--I would've liked a denser texture. All in all, a good recipe. We used it to dip homemade potato wedges in, but it probably really would do justice to some crispy golden onion rings. (Or an onion blossom!) Would also be yummy on steak sandwiches, or a grilled burger. Thanks for sharing.
